We will go through each menu option separately.
Consistency is very important, especially in price lists. The stock price browser allows you to quickly flick through your stock items to check for accuracy and consistency.
When this option is selected the Stock Price Browser screen will be displayed.

Down the left-hand side of the screen you will see a list of your stock items. Press [Tab] if you wish the sequence to be in supplier code order if you have entered supplier codes in your stock records.
You will notice that as you move the highlight bar down the stock list the main screen changes to display the highlighted item's fields.
If you wish to edit any displayed field press [Enter] and the cursor will jump to the Average cost field. You can edit the mark-up code and all the figures displayed, but not the item code, description or group.
To save any changes made press [Enter] until you reach the bottom of the screen. The cursor will jump back to the stock list. If you don't wish to save your changes press [Esc].
To return to the Price Maintenance Menu press [Esc] from the stock list.
This option allows you to add, view, edit and delete your mark-up codes. These are used to automatically mark your stock up or down when new costs are entered, and to calculate your selling prices from user-defined formulas.

[Ins] allows you to add a new mark-up code.
[Enter] allows you to edit an existing mark-up code.
