The User Maintenance Menu contains 4 options.

A list of Users is maintained by Equity, and this menu leads to the functions with which you maintain the list. We will go through each option on the menu separately.
This is the option that will be used most often once all of your users have been entered into the system. It enables you to view the chosen user without editing the record. Note that you can only view users that are already entered into Equity.
When this option is selected a screen will be displayed that allows you to enter the ID of the user you want to view.

You can either type in a valid user code and press [Enter], or press [F2] to pop-up a list of users. The user's record will then be displayed for you to view. The record cannot be changed, but there are several function keys that can be pressed to pop-up more information about the user.

The User ID is usually an abbreviation of the users name. Any combination of letters and numbers is valid, but we advise against using spaces as they can become hard to remember. It can be up to 10 characters long, but it is in your own interest to keep code as short as possible as the user will need to type enter their ID every time they start Equity. When you have entered the Users ID press [Enter].
The New User's record will be displayed. All the fields will be empty except for the first which will contain your newly defined User ID. The cursor will be on the first field for you to enter. Use the [Enter] and [Esc] keys to move through the record.
