14.6. Set Module Access Levels
Each module within Equity has an access level. When you first start up Equity, all modules are assigned an access level of 1. If you wish to take advantage of the security features available, these access levels can be set by using this option.
When this option is selected a screen will be displayed that allows you to set an access level for every menu option within Equity.
To set an access level, move the highlight bar to the module you wish to set and press [Enter]. You can then enter the new access level. Press [Enter] again to save the changes, or press [Esc] to abandon the change.
Users are allocated an access code in their file. Any option with a higher access level than the users will not appear on any menu when the user is operating the system. Using access codes you can effectively lock certain users out of certain sections or whole modules if needed.
